Appearance: A huge anthrowolf, his shoulders are wider than some of his colleagues are tall. He doesn't smile much and the last time he grinned he frightened away the person he was grinning at. He keeps himself clean and groomed.
Dog: He is a massive canine, looking mostly like a wolf, but just ‘dog’ enough to make people comfortable. His markings match his usual fur pattern. Though he could easily out manuver and escape any animal control officer, he wears a collar with legal tags to avoid the trouble in the first place.
Human: As a human, he has an air of uneasiness around him. His sharp senses are dulled, so he reserves this gigai for emergencies only. He is tall and stocky, looking much like a westerner because of his hair and eye colour. His hair is long, but does not go past his shoulders. To make his human form a little more like himself, he has a trimmed beard and mustache.
Character Analysis: After graduation, Komamura stayed in Soul Society until he was assigned to the living world when the hollow attacks began getting more frequent. As he is unable to walk around in a gigai that mirrors his appearance, he roams about in a dog gigai. He has a human one as well, but reserves it for emergencies only, as he is uncomfortable in it because it dulls his senses. One day, he patrolled into one of the local shrines and was spotted by one of the monks that resided there. Amazed at the other-worldly appearance of the large dog and the unmistakable spiritual force coming from it, the monk thought he was a guardian spirit. Komamura was offered food and as thanks, he patrolled the shrine to keep away pests and criminals. He lived near the shrine, earning his keep when one day he stumbled upon a familiar face: Mashiro. Happy to see an old friend, they quickly caught up and Mashiro ‘adopted’ him. He now lives with her in her apartment, though he continues to patrol the shrine aside from his normal duties as his ‘job’.
